Every classroom. Every teacher. Every student. Every day. Every one of these gives us an opportunity to address our students’ spiritual, intellectual, physical and emotional needs. Calvary strives to make the most of every opportunity to train the children entrusted to us. In our classrooms we work to maintain an excellent student – teacher ratio (currently 12:1) with the most current educational methodology and technology. Our teachers come to us with a wealth of training and experience, and maintain their focus on ongoing education at the professional level.
Our Advance Learning Center (ALC) allows us to take personal attention to a higher level yet by providing one-on-one attention when a student could benefit from additional help on a subject. From occasional tutoring and study-help to teaching basic learning skills, we find our greatest success in the ALC when we "graduate" students from the program, capable and confident in their ability to succeed in the classroom.
Is the extra effort worthy it? Every year students are evaluated by Wisconsin's Department of Public Instruction in five key academic areas (Mathematics, Reading, Language, Science, and Social Studies). Last year's tests placed our students well into the highest scoring level in every area!
