What great love did our Savior have when he said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these!” It’s our joy to bring our children to Jesus, too. God says we’re to share his message of grace with them, and his Word gives direction and guidance as they grow up into the next generation of our leaders.

Calvary operates Sunday School classes in our school building from 9:15 – 10:15 a.m. Sunday School is in session throughout the school year, and is open to children age three through the sixth grade. A typical lesson includes a Scripture story, a craft project, and a song, as well as a chance for classmates to get to know each other. Parents are welcome to join us for our adult Bible study down the hall.

This year, our Sunday School has adopted Risen Savior Lutheran School as our mission project.  Risen Savior's ministry is only five miles away from us in the northern part of Milwaukee, but seems like it is a world away.  By our offerings and prayers, we support their work to share the gospel with parents and children who have never heard of God's love in Christ Jesus.
