March 17, 2010 - Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary Chorus Sings at Calvary
Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary (WLS) in Mequon trains our church body's future pastors. On March 17th, the WLS Chorus joins their voices to our midweek Lenten service (6:30 service only). Throughout the service the Chorus sings sacred music that ranges from Old Testament Psalms to newly-written and arranged hymns, from 16th century German hymns to songs that have their roots in American Folk music. Don't miss this unique worship opportunity!
 
March 20, 2010 - Easter Camp for Kids
On Saturday, March 20, parents are welcome to drop off their children for an "Easter Camp for Kids." We share with them the good news of Easter in stories, songs, and crafts from 9:00-11:30 am.

April 1, 2010 - Maundy Thursday worship
On Thursday, April 1st, we remember the events of the first "Maundy Thursday." On the night in which he was betrayed, Jesus instituted the sacrament of Holy Communion,and gave his disciples his great command to "love one another." Maundy Thursday serves are held at 3:15 and 6:30 pm.
 
April 2, 2010 - Good Friday worship
Good Friday is a day of great solemnity and profound joy for a Christian. This festival marks the day when God's perfect Son gave up his life to pay for the sins of all people. We celebrate this service with a Tre Ore (Latin for "three hour" service) from 12:00-3:00 (worshipers may enter or exit every half hour), and a Tenebrae "Service of Shadows" at 6:30 pm.

March 3, 2010 - Midweek Lenten Services and Meals
During the forty days of Lent, our congregation gathers together for special "midweek Lenten services." These services, held Wednesday in Lent at 3:15 and 6:30, are special opportunities to focus our hearts on Christ's love that he showed on the cross. To ease our busy schedules and give us opportunities to fellowship with one another, everyone is also invited to "fellowship meals" between the services. The meals are held in our school's fellowship hall.
 
February 17, 2010 - Ash Wednesday Worship
Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the season of Lent. For six weeks, the church holds special midweek services to focus our hearts on Christ's love for us displayed in his suffering and death. Ash Wednesday services, which include Holy Communion, are held at 3:15 and 6:30 pm. A fellowship meal will be held between the services.
 
January 31, 2010 - Estate Planning Seminar at Calvary
Making informed decisions about how best to care for our loved ones and manage our estates is difficult. On Sunday, January 31st (at 12:00) and Thursday, February 4th (at 7:30 pm) Rev. Dennis Kleist will conduct an estate planning seminar in Calvary's fellowship hall. There is no fee for the seminar; lunch and babysitting are provided at Sunday's session. For planning purposes, we ask that you register on the sign-up sheet in Calvary's narthex, or call the church office at 262.242.4710.
 
January 19, 2010 - "Growing in Hope" Bible Class
Starting Tuesday, January 19th, Calvary offers an 8-session "basics-of-the-Bible" class. The goal of the class is to answer the key questions about God\'s Word and to give participants the confidence to read and understand the Bible for themselves. This free class also serves as an entrance into membership at Calvary.

January 3, 2010 - "Catholicism Today" Sunday Morning Bible Class
Five hundred years after the Reformation, the Lutheran Church and Roman Catholic Church are separated by key teachings about how we are saved and what our relationship with God is. Our Sunday morning class in January and February takes us back to God's Word to understand these differences and find real answers.

January 1, 2010 - New Year's Worship
Every day is a gift of God's grace! At the close of one year and the beginning of the next, we meet together to thank God for his care and ask his continued blessings. Our New Year's service is held at 6:30 pm on December 31st, and 9:30 am on January 1st.
 
December 25, 2009 - Christmas Eve and Christmas Day worship
In the fullness of time, God sent his Son Jesus to become one of us and accomplish the world's salvation. We gather to hear what this truth means for us in a series of services on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
